The Ihlara Valley is located 100 km from Göreme and 40 km from the city of Aksaray. It has a height of 150 m. There are a number of artistic churches in the valley. Because of the abundant supply of water, this was the first settlement of the early Christians. The canyon was built by the Greeks of Cappadocia.
Derinkuyu Underground city- this city was discovered in 1962. This city has many secrets - its real dimensions are not precisely determined. It is believed that the city was created 20 centuries before the birth of Christ. The city has: wineries, temples, kitchens, meeting places, schools, various workshops, an underground cemetery.
